What we do
VBS and Sports Camps
The local church has a deep desire to minister to their community. One way we help fulfill that desire is by partnering with churches to host VBS and sports camps. Through the resources our teams provide, we are able to evangelize not only to the children of the community but to the adults, as well.
Medical Clinics
In 2018, we began offering medical clinics at our site locations. We have medical professionals volunteer their time and supplies in order to serve the community and their physical needs.
Construction
It all begins with a need. Churches in need. We have brought new life to churches with a fresh coat of paint, restored churches with a new ceiling, planted churches with a new building and much more. Whatever the need, our teams will work to get it completed.
Build Relationships
This isn’t a vacation. You will not return home the same as when you left. The people you meet, the love you share, and the things you see and do will stick with you for a lifetime. Your life and the lives of those you served will forever be changed.
WE DO THE WORK
We understand that planning a mission trip is hard work. When you go on an Encuentro Mission trip, we do the hard work for you.
Transportation
The only transportation you have to worry about when attending an Encuentro Trip is arriving to the city location. Once you touch down, we take care of your transportations needs. From airport pick up/drop off to excursion trips, you can breathe easy because we have you covered!
LODGING
We believe we are better together. Since 2018 we have been staying on the Nazarene Seminaries of our site locations. All teams will be staying together at the local seminary worshipping and encouraging one another before they go out and serve.
MEALS
Excluding travel day meals, you can rest assured knowing we have your all your meals planned. This allows leaders to stress less and to be present with their team as they serve those around them.
Projects
Years in advance we are talking with the local Nazarene leaders of our site location. By the time team leaders arrive for our Pre-Site Trip we will have a list of projects needed at the local churches. The leaders will then choose the church they will partner with during their trip. You will know exactly what you are doing before you land at the site location.
